February 26th, 2016. Colorado.

This morning was a chance to have a nice relaxing flight after a few days of rushing and quick flights. Flying from the home of well known and respected Balloonist David Levin, we took off in clear blue skies and lights winds with frost on the ground. Climbing to a maximum altitude of over 9000 feet, we had fabulous views of the snow capped Colorado mountains. It was also a first chance to fly with David, a world champion balloonist in gas and hot air. David has been flying for forty years and has almost 5,000 hours in balloons. Thats seven months non stop in the air! After an hour of sightseeing we had a great but brisk landing before Davids wife Roberta cooked everyone a fabulous breakfast. Wonderful hospitality and now its time to head east.....
