Fantastic first flight and we are off! Flying alongside five local balloons, it was also the first time I’ve been able to fly with one of my best friends Matt Torgerson. We took off and the first mile we flew directly over Valhalla USPGA golf course, site of the 2008 Ryder Cup. Flying from Middletown, Kentucky we flew for an hour maxing out at 2700ft - 2000ft agl. The wind direction made for a tricky flight though with all balloons landing near I64.
